Ads are given to inform customer regarding, to persuade customer to remained customer, to encourage customer and so on sometime ads create misleading and untruthfulness and false message.
The ways to create misleading or untruth full message are given here:
a) Using false name of the company and its brand and product name.
b) Misleading level. Example: Bata –Rata
c) Misleading headline. Example Fairness within 7 days.
d) Misleading copy.
e) Incorrect logo.
f) Incorrect slogan.
g) Incorrect chart.
h) Harmful appeal.
So, the advertiser must be careful about the truth and ethical aspect about ads, word, message and so on. Advertiser must be use truth words or message and should misleading or untruthful word, message and others false information. If the words message, are misleading, the main purpose of ads will be hampered, their customer will suffer a lot and customer will be cheated and they will lose heart. If the ads are true and ethical then it helps to increase sales profit, market share, customers benefit and so on.
So the advertiser should follow the rules of truth and avoid the untruth or misleading information.
